TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CORTEX GAME CLIPS

By accessing or using Cortex Game Clips, you agree to be bound by these additional terms and conditions (the “Additional Terms”) as well as the applicable existing Razer Services & Software – General  Terms of Use  and Privacy Policy previously provided to and agreed upon by you (the “Existing Terms”). In the event of any conflict between these Additional Terms and the Existing Terms, the provisions of these Additional Terms shall prevail.

Please avoid recording or uploading any confidential or sensitive information as part of your gameplay clips — including personal conversations, private messages, or data you wouldn’t want a reviewer to see or Razer to use to help improve our products, services, and machine-learning technologies.

1. 1. Ownership of Content and Grant of License
   Cortex Game Clips enables Customers to record their electronic activity, including but not limited to gameplay (“User Content”). By uploading, recording, or otherwise making available any User Content through Cortex Game Clips, you remain the creator and owner of User Content and/or have obtained any and all necessary permissions or rights to use or publish the same. You are solely responsible for your User Content and assume all risk arising from your use of third-party websites, services, and networks. By using Cortex Game Clips to upload and publish User Content on third party websites, services, or networks, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Razer and its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (“Claims”) arising out of or in any way connected with your User Content including but not limited to Claims that your User Content (a) infringes, violates, or misappropriates any third party right, including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, moral right, privacy or publicity rights, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right; or (b) slander, defame, or libel any other person. By uploading, recording, or otherwise making available any User Content through Cortex Game Clips, you grant to Razer and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, communicate, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit such User Content for commercial purposes through any of Razer’s Services, for operational or other improvements of any of Razer’s Services, including the development of tools, software, machine learning algorithms, and artificial intelligence models, and in any media formats and through any media channels.
   
   This license is granted for the maximum duration permitted by applicable law and survives the termination of your Account or use of Cortex Game Clips.
   
   
2. 2. Data Privacy and Anonymization
   No Personal Data Recording: Cortex Game Clips is designed not to record any personal data of yours or any third parties.
   
   Filtering and Anonymization: Razer will implement robust filtering and anonymization procedures to remove or obscure any personal data that may inadvertently be captured within any gameplay content recorded or uploaded by you.
   
   Compliance with Privacy Commitments: These measures are in addition to, and do not limit, the commitments made in the Existing Terms regarding user privacy.
   
   
3. 3. Content Removal and Privacy Notice
   Razer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, remove, restrict access to, or delete any User Content that it believes may infringe third-party rights, violate these Additional Terms or the Existing Terms, or breach applicable laws, without prior notice.
   
   Removal requests apply only to User Content and do not extend to derivative works, AI models, or tools trained on such content. We further reserve the right to retain an anonymous version of User Content.
   
   If you are using a shared or public device, please be aware that recorded videos and data may be stored locally. You are responsible for deleting your sessions if privacy is a concern.
   
   
4. 3. Copyright Notice
   Razer respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work is posted or made available on Cortex Game Clips without your authorization and you claim infringement, you should send us a notice or complaint which shall include the following information. Please note that Razer will respond to your notice only if you are the copyright owner or an authorized person acting on behalf of the copyright owner.
   
   
   1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
   2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
   3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Razer to locate the material.
   4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Razer to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted.
   5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
   6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Razer reserves the right to amend these Additional Terms at any time. Razer will notify you of any material changes to these Additional Terms by posting the new terms on our website. Continued use of Cortex Game Clips following any update to these Additional Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
