Armed with a cutting-edge AI tracking system and infrared camera, the soundbar is able to locate the user and detect the position of their ears, regardless of lighting conditions.
Images from the IR camera are fed through a deep neural network processor, which can accurately estimate where your ears are in relation to the soundbar. Once the user position has been updated, the captured images are immediately discarded. As the USB connection from the soundbar to the PC only transports audio and controls for Razer Synapse and does not have a camera interface, the images will never leave the soundbar and there is no way to access any image information.
Driven by AI head-tracking, the soundbar utilizes Audioscenic’s beamforming technology to create a personal, virtual soundstage that ensures you’re always in the sweet spot. This is achieved through a process called constructive and destructive interference.
