Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced that the Razer Iskur V2 NewGen has received the Human-Centered Design Gold Award at the inaugural Human-Centered Design Award (HCDA), organized by the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society of Singapore (HFESS) and supported by the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).
The Gold Award represents the highest level of recognition in the category that honors designs that demonstrate outstanding application of ergonomics and user-centred innovation.
The Razer Iskur V2 NewGen was recognized for its groundbreaking HyperFlex™ Lumbar Support System and Razer Gen-2 EPU Leather with CoolTouch™ Technology, which work together to provide adaptive ergonomic support and enhanced thermal comfort during prolonged gaming and desk-based use.

The chair was designed by Razer’s in-house team, mainly Charlie Bolton, Global Head of Design, Chong Boon Sim, Associate Director of Industrial Design, and Law Beng Han, Senior CAD Designer.
Design innovations that contributed to HCDA Gold Award recognition:
1. Razer HyperFlex™ Lumbar Support System
A 360° swivel lumbar mechanism that dynamically follows the user’s body as they shift between upright, reclined, and relaxed seating positions.
2. Razer Gen-2 EPU Leather with CoolTouch™ Technology
A high-performance upholstery material designed to stay cooler to the touch while being 13x more durable than regular PU leather, delivering enhanced comfort, longevity, and performance for extended use.
3. Dual-Density Cold-Cured Foam Seat Cushion
A breathable, perforated cushion design that actively vents heat, built with dual-density cold-cured foam for plush, balanced support and all-day pressure relief.
