RAZER – QUEBEC CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW (BILL 29) DISCLOSURE
- 1. Legal Warranty of Good Working Order
Razer products sold in Quebec are covered by the legal warranty of good working order under the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec).
This warranty ensures that the goods are free from defects and will function properly for a reasonable period, having regard to their intended use, price, and the representations made at sale.
Unless otherwise specified by Razer or required by law, this warranty period for electronic goods is two (2) years from the date of purchase, and applies to both the original purchaser and subsequent owners. - 2. Replacement Parts and Repair Services
Razer guarantees that replacement parts and authorized repair services are available for a reasonable period of time after purchase, typically at least three (3) years for electronic products.
Replacement parts and repairs may be obtained by contacting Razer Support.
Customers will receive a response to repair or service requests within ten (10) days. - 3. Diagnostic and Maintenance Information
Razer provides diagnostic tools, firmware, and software updates required for maintenance and repair.
Such digital maintenance information is made available free of charge through Razer’s official support portal.
Replacement parts are designed to be installable using commonly available tools and without causing irreversible damage to the product. - 4. Prohibited Practices
Razer does not engage in any form of planned obsolescence.
Products are not designed to have an intentionally shortened lifespan or to prevent repair or maintenance. - 5. Additional Warranty Information
Consumers are reminded that the legal warranty of good working order exists in addition to any commercial warranty (e.g., extended or limited manufacturer warranty) offered by Razer.
