Terms and Conditions for Proof of Human Badge

These terms and conditions govern Razer's display of the "Proof of Human" verification badge ("Badge") with your Razer account, subject to and based upon third-party validation by World Foundation via it’s platform, infrastructure and operations (“World”). By participating in this program, you accept these terms in their entirety and acknowledge Razer's limited role described below.

1. 1. Display of Badge on Razer Account
   A “Proof of Human” badge ("Badge") will be affixed to your Razer account profile, provided you have successfully completed the verification processes on World.
   
   Razer may remove the Badge without notice if:

• World revokes your verification status;
• Anomalies are detected in your account activity; and/or
• Regulatory requirements necessitate Badge removal.
  

1. 2. Facilitating Access
   Razer’s role is limited to facilitating your access to visit World. No agency relationship or joint venture exists between Razer and World.
   
   When scanning the QR Code provided on this platform, you will be accessing a dedicated landing page hosted by World ("Verification Platform"). This initiates a third-party verification process operated by World independent of Razer. The QR Code functions as a conduit to World’s infrastructure. No embedded tracking mechanisms or data collection tools are deployed by Razer when you access World.
   
   The Badge is a display feature on Razer’s website. The display of this Badge on your Razer account is subject to (a) the availability of World in your local jurisdiction, and (b) your successful verification by World. The establishment, management and/or operation of World in each local participating country are entirely at World’s discretion, and these are wholly outside the control and responsibility of Razer.
   
   
2. 3. Data Privacy
   Razer and World operate as independent data controllers. No joint controllership exists within the understanding of Article 26 GDPR.
   
   Razer does not transfer any personal data to World. For avoidance of doubt, no personal identifiers, browsing history, or device information is transmitted by Razer to World when you access World’s platform. None of your Razer profile details (e.g., names, contact information, device identifiers) are transferred when you access World. If you access World via the QR Code, that QR Code only operates as a static gateway without any data collection capabilities.
   
   Razer does not collect, access, process and/or receive any biometric data, government-issued ID details, and/or verification outcomes generated by World. World independently governs and controls all data collected during verification by World. Any information you may use directly with World is governed by World’s privacy policy.
   
   On the part of Razer:

• Razer does not have access to World's biometric databases or ID validation records;
• Razer cannot intervene in any data subject requests you may issue to World; and
• Razer is not responsible for World's compliance with data protection laws and regulations
  

Razer processes the following data related to verification:

• A pseudonymized hash value linked internally to your Razer account; and
• Binary verification status (verified or not verified) received from World
  

The pseudonymized hash value ensures Razer cannot identify the specific verification method or personal data processed by World. Razer maintains strict segregation between its systems and World’s infrastructure, meaning no personal data (e.g., biometrics, IDs) is shared between the parties. Razer relies on this process to display the Badge with your Razer account.

1. 4. World is a Separate Third-party Service
   When you leave Razer’s domain, your access to World shall be at your own risk. Your access to World and usage thereof are subject to the applicable terms and conditions of World.
   
   Razer does not design, audit, or control World's verification methodologies, algorithms, operational protocols, data practices, and/or service delivery. Razer does not assume responsibility or make any representations, endorsements, or warranties whatsoever to you in relation to World. This partnership does not imply any affiliation between Razer and World beyond what is expressly stated in these terms and conditions. If you are located in the EU, your access via Razer to World does not constitute an endorsement of World under EU Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices.
   
   World operates as a separate legal entity with its own terms of service, privacy policies, and verification standards. Users must separately agree to World's terms before initiating verification.
   
   You hereby acknowledge that:

• Razer does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or security of World's verification systems
• Any failures in World's infrastructure that may prevent Badge issuance do not constitute breach by Razer
• You must resolve disputes regarding verification results directly with World.
  

1. 5. Data Subject Rights
   You may exercise your data subject rights, including the right to erasure, for personal data held by Razer at any time. Please refer to Razer’s Privacy Policy for the process to submit such requests. You may contact Razer support to remove the Badge from your account.
   
   
2. 6. Fee Disclosure
   Razer receives a fee from World for your completion of verification on World. Such arrangement does not influence Razer determination whether to display the Badge on your account, which are based on independent verification by World. This fee arrangement also does not involve the transfer of any personal data between Razer and World.
   
   
3. 7. DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

YOUR ACCESS TO WORLD AND USAGE THEREOF IS AND SHALL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE RAZER WEBSITES AND ALL CONTENTS THEREON ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAZER AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE RAZER SITES, ALL CONTENTS THEREON, AND SUPPORT SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND TITLE. RAZER MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE CONTENTS OF THE RAZER SITES OR OF SITES LINKED TO THE RAZER SITES, AND DOES NOT ENDORSE OR ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE ADVERTISED BY ANY THIRD PARTY THROUGH THE RAZER SITES OR ANY HYPERLINKED WEBSITES. RAZER ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER MALWARE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH THE RAZER SITES, FOR ANY ERRORS, MISTAKES OR INACCURACIES IN CONTENT, OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE INCURRED THAT RESULTS FROM THE USE OF ANY CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE IN ANY WAY THROUGH THE RAZER SITES. AS REGARDS WORLD, RAZER DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR (A) THE VERIFICATION PROCESS CONDUCTED BY WORLD; (B) ANY DATA PROCESSED AND/OR STORED BY WORLD, IF ANY; OR (C) THE AVAILABILITY OR FUNCTIONALITY OF WORLD'S SERVICES. BY YOUR ACCESSING WORLD, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT RAZER DOES NOT VET WORLD'S SECURITY PROTOCOLS OR LEGAL COMPLIANCE. YOUR ACCESS TO WORLD IS UNDERTAKEN ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL RAZER, THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING THOSE RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR ACCESS TO WORLD AND/OR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE WORLD AND/OR THE RAZER SITES, EVEN IF RAZER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

1. 8. Discretionary Rewards
   The Badge is issued by Razer subject to:

• Razer's sole determination of eligibility criteria;
• Ongoing compliance with prevailing laws and regulations;
• Immediate revocation if Badge misuse is suspected for any reason in Razer’s sole discretion; and
• Razer’s right to remove the Badge in its discretion at any time and for any reason.
  

Any promotional incentives by Razer (e.g., loyalty points, premium access) offered alongside verification:

• Are granted at Razer's absolute discretion
• May be modified or withdrawn without notice
• Shall be subject to prevailing laws and regulations.
  

Any incentives or rewards provided by World are determined solely by World subject to their policies and prevailing local laws. Razer does not control or influence any incentives provided to you by World.

Razer does not endorse, supervise, or assume responsibility for rewards, promotions, or benefits offered by World or its affiliates ("World’s Incentives"). Users engage with World at their own risk. World operates as an independent entity, and all World’s Incentives – including eligibility criteria, distribution, or revocation – are determined solely by World under its terms and policies.
By engaging with World’s services, you acknowledge that:

• Razer has no control over World’s operations, World’s Incentives, or compliance with laws;
• Any interaction with World, including verification or reward claims, is at your sole discretion and risk; and
• Razer disclaims all liability for disputes, losses, or harms arising from your use of World’s services.
  

You agree to review World’s terms and privacy policy before proceeding. Razer’s display of the Badge does not constitute an endorsement of World’s services under EU Directive 2005/29/EC or equivalent consumer protection laws.

1. 9. Jurisdictional Eligibility
   The availability of World and/or its related operations in your jurisdiction is subject to prevailing laws and regulations based on World’s sole discretion. Razer makes no representation and gives you no warranties regarding the availability of World in your location. Razer shall not in any way be obliged to display the Badge with your account in the event World is not available in your location.
   
   
2. 10. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution and Modification
   You agree that the laws of Singapore, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, shall govern both these Terms and any dispute that might arise between you and Razer in relation to these Terms except as otherwise mandated by local laws (eg. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).
   
   You also agree that any disputes shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre ("SIAC Rules") for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause. The seat of the arbitration shall be Singapore. The Tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator. The language of the arbitration shall be English. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under these Terms shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to these Terms, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise. If you are a consumer based in the European Union, the preceding paragraph on arbitration does not apply, and you may make a claim in a competent court of the country in which you reside.
   
   We reserve the right to make changes at any time to these Terms and our related policies. We will notify you of any material changes to the Terms by posting the new Terms on the Razer website, and via platform alerts. Your continued use of the Razer website constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
