Razer Achieves 78% of Value Chain Decarbonisation Commitments Under Science Based Targets Initiative Ahead of 2030 Targets, Releases 2025 Sustainability Report

Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the release of its Fiscal Year 2025 (FY2025) Sustainability Report, outlining efforts to minimise environmental impact, accelerate decarbonisation across its value chain, and forge partnerships that drive innovation in sustainable hardware, software and services.

“Real progress in climate action stems from long-term partnerships and shared value-chain accountability. We are creating an impact that extends far beyond our own operations by collaborating across our ecosystem to improve emissions reporting, build capability, and deploy practical solutions,” said Kenneth Ng, Global Sustainability Lead, Razer. “As we continue advancing toward our 2030 climate goals and #GoGreenWithRazer roadmap, we remain focused on strengthening our sustainability capabilities, making our ecosystem more resilient, more transparent and better positioned for the low carbon economy.”

 Key highlights from 2025 include:

  • Achieved 78% of its value chain decarbonisation commitments under Science Based Targets (SB Ti) ahead of 2030 schedule.
  • Applied green software principles to Synapse 4, achieving a 99.32% reduction in software emissions
  • 6.1% reduction in value chain (Scope 3) emissions compared to FY2024
  • Awarded an ‘A’ rating by CDP for environmental leadership and a Silver Medal from EcoVadis for ESG practices
  • Recycling programmes rolled out across all RazerStores in 2025 that include initiatives such as in-store e-waste drop-off and device take-back for peripherals and laptops.
  • Successfully transitioned all corporate offices to 100% renewable energy in 2022, achieving its 2025 goal three years ahead of schedule.

 Accelerating Progress Toward Climate Goals

Razer’s sustainability strategy is guided by its ESG framework, built on alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and a materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement process. Initiatives include the #GoGreenWithRazer programme that includes a 10-year environmental roadmap spanning product lifecycles, operations, and supply chains, organised around four pillars: Green Products, Green Community, Green Organization, and Green Investment. Razer also formalised a Climate Transition Plan (CTP) in 2023, committing to a 90% absolute reduction in emissions and a 55% intensity reduction in value chain emissions as it transitions to renewable energy and recycled materials, supporting its short-term net zero targets by 2030.

Building on these efforts, Razer has partnered with the Asia Pacific Green Alliance (APGA) to help suppliers strengthen sustainability reporting and meet internationally recognised environmental disclosure standards. The company will also deploy agentic AI tools to simplify reporting and data management, making it easier for businesses to adopt best practices. As APGA’s lead “Queen Bee,” Razer will help small and medium-sized enterprises improve their sustainability capabilities, increase access to green financing, and strengthen their competitiveness in global supply chains.
