Creating a dedicated left-handed mouse involves more than reversing an existing design. Its internal circuitry, tooling, button layout, and ergonomics all need to be developed specifically for the left hand.
For many southpaw gamers, having that option meant no longer having to adapt to a right-handed mouse or rely on an ambidextrous design when what they really wanted was something made for the way they play.
