Esports is set to take centre stage in Paris as the Esports World Cup (EWC) brings some of the world’s best players, teams, and esports communities together through July to August 2026.
For gamers and esports fans, that means checking match schedules, following brackets across different titles, and keeping up with the teams and players competing through one of the biggest tournament windows of the year. For Team Razer, it is a chance to stand behind the athletes and partner teams who continue to compete at the highest level as they chase esports glory in Paris.
This year, more than 18 Team Razer athletes and partner teams will compete across eight titles, each carrying a different story into EWC 2026.
From Faker to NiKo, Shotzzy and OpTic Gaming, Hydra and 100 Thieves, these are just a few of the storylines that Team Razer will be supporting in the next weeks. As the matches begin, we are proud to support every one of them stepping onto the EWC stage.
Following the Players Behind the Competition
Team Razer has never been defined by one game. What connects our athletes isn’t genre, region or title. It’s a shared commitment to competition.
Every game on the EWC calendar asks for something different. A League of Legends series can turn on one teamfight. A VALORANT round can come down to a single read. A Call of Duty map can swing on tempo, while a single shot can make the difference in Counter-Strike 2.
That is why Team Razer’s presence at EWC matters to us. These are players and teams we have watched compete through long seasons, roster changes, close losses, and championship runs. When they reach a stage like this, our support is not just for one match day. It is for the work that brought them here.
Team Razer Names to Watch
For League of Legends fans, few names have shaped the game the way Faker has. The Unkillable Demon King continues to set the standard for longevity at the top, with every international appearance adding another chapter to a career and team history that fans around the world continue to follow closely.

Fresh off the first Major title of his career, NiKo arrives in Paris having completed one of Counter-Strike’s longest journeys. The question is no longer whether he can win on the biggest stage. It’s what comes next, and the answer to take begins in Paris for the greatest riflers in Counter-Stike history.

Apex Legends will bring several Team Razer storylines into the spotlight. The reigning Apex Legends Global Series 2026 Championship roster from Sentinels, 2024 EWC champions Alliance led by Hakis, and consistent dark horses Shopify Rebellion will all drop in Paris looking to make their mark in the ever-changing Apex landscape.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Shotzzy and OpTic Gaming will begin their title defence with renewed confidence after winning their first Major of the season in the same city in June. HyDra and LA Thieves will also be looking to settle unfinished business after missing out on their quest for back-to-back Majors in Paris. The CDL Major III winners are geared up to continue building from a record-breaking run that saw them capture 16 match wins in a row.

Karmine Corp will have the home crowd behind them as they compete in VALORANT, League of Legends, and Rocket League. Their Rocket League team enters EWC not only as defending champions, but also as one of the most dominant teams in the game’s recent history, having already won 2 Majors this year, including one on home soil.

Across the wider EWC calendar, Team Razer athletes and partner teams represent different games, different styles of play, and different communities. What connects them is the level of focus required when every match can shift on small decisions.
Built #ForThePro
Every piece of Razer gear carries a lesson learned in competition. Working with esports athletes goes beyond seeing our gear on stage. It means listening to the players who spend hours scrimming, traveling, reviewing matches, and preparing for moments where small details can decide the outcome.
When a player is deep into a tournament run, their setup should feel like something they can trust without thinking about it. Mouse control, headset comfort, keyboard feel, and overall consistency all matter more when the margin between winning and losing is thin.
That is why pro feedback remains central to how we think about performance gear. Team Razer gives us a direct line to players who understand what competition demands, from daily practice to the biggest stages in esports.
