How Our Hybrid ANC Works
We use a combination of feedforward and feedback microphones to block out noise more effectively. The feedforward microphones, located on the outside of the earcups, pick up ambient sounds around you. The feedback microphones, placed inside the earcups, capture the noise that reaches your ears. An onboard processor then creates an inverse sound wave, or anti-phase signal, that cancels out the noise in real time. This hybrid approach suppresses a broader range of frequencies than single microphone systems, delivering more consistent noise reduction even in changing environments.
Because every player and room is different, we give you control over how much noise cancellation you need. Adjust levels from 1 to 4 in Razer Synapse on PC, Razer Audio App, or switch modes directly on select models like the BlackShark V3 Pro using the convenient on-headset controls.
