Hanwha Life Esports are the 2026 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) champions. After defeating BiliBili Gaming 3-2 in the MSI 2026 Grand Final, Gumayusi, Zeka, Zeus, Kanavi, and Delight lifted the first MSI trophy in the organization’s history. The victory completed a championship run that took HLE through the lower bracket and back to the team that had handed them their only series loss of the tournament.
For HLE, it is a landmark title secured during the organization’s first appearance at MSI. For us, it is a proud moment to see a Team Razer roster respond under pressure, earn another opportunity to compete for the trophy, and make it count on the international stage.
Their road through Daejeon was not straightforward. That made the final victory mean even more.
The Road Back to the MSI Grand Final
HLE arrived at MSI as Korea’s first seed after finishing the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season with a 15–3 record and carrying that form through the Road to MSI.
The team opened the tournament with victories over Team Secret Whales and G2 Esports, advancing through the upper bracket without dropping a game. Bilibili Gaming brought that run to an end in the upper-bracket final, leaving HLE with one route back to the trophy.
HLE took it.
A five-game victory in the lower-bracket final earned them another meeting with Bilibili Gaming and the chance to settle the rematch on the biggest stage of the tournament.
The Grand Final went all the way too. With the series tied at 2–2, Silver Scrapes rang out through the arena as HLE prepared for its second deciding game in as many days.
Game 5 delivered another defining moment when Kanavi stole Baron away from Bilibili Gaming. From there, HLE found the closing moments they needed to complete the comeback, with Zeus named Finals MVP after a standout performance across the series.
When the final Nexus fell, HLE had survived back-to-back five-game series and turned the rematch into the organization’s biggest international victory.
The Hanwha Life Esports Championship Roster
Zeus gave the team a strong presence in the top lane, while Kanavi helped control the pace from the jungle. Zeka remained central to HLE’s play through mid, with Gumayusi and Delight bringing pressure, stability, and experience to the bot lane.
That balance gave HLE options from one game to the next. They could shift their focus between lanes, adjust to different drafts, and find another way forward when a series began to move against them.
Those qualities became even more important after the loss to Bilibili Gaming. With no room left for another setback, the team responded by playing its way back to the Grand Final and making the second opportunity count.
Ready for Every Stage With Razer
Throughout the tournament, Hanwha Life Esports competed with Razer gear built for the demands of professional play.
The team relied on the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro to stay connected through drafts, objective setups, and the moments when every call mattered. The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro and Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz TKL also supported the fast, precise inputs required across a high-pressure international run.
At this level, trust in your setup comes from using gear that feels ready every time you step on stage. We are proud to have supported HLE throughout the journey that brought them to the MSI trophy.
Winning MSI on Home Soil
HLE’s first MSI appearance was already a milestone for the organization. Winning the title in Korea made it part of tournament history.
For the first time since MSI began in 2015, a team from the host region lifted the trophy. Throughout the tournament, the crowd in Daejeon followed HLE through every stage of the bracket, staying with the team after its first loss, through the lower-bracket final, and into one last series against Bilibili Gaming.
The Grand Final gave HLE the chance to claim its first MSI title in front of a home crowd. By taking the series to Game 5 and finishing the job, the team delivered a championship moment no previous MSI host region had experienced.
When the title was finally secured, the moment belonged to the players on stage, everyone behind the team, and the fans who had been with them throughout the journey.
