HOW RAZER™ SNAP TAP WORKS

Razer Snap Tap Off

With a standard gaming keyboard, in any instance where two opposing directions are detected, no movement is registered. This causes your character to stop moving and remain stationary for as long as those two keys remain actuated. For any one direction to be registered, the other key must first be released.

Razer Snap Tap On

With Razer Snap Tap, in any instance where two opposing directions are detected, it will register the last input as the priority. This means your character will no longer stop moving in the heat of battle when two opposing directional keys are pressed. Instead, you can now change directions instantly without having to release the previous key. We recommend using Snap Tap together with Rapid Trigger Mode for even greater responsiveness.

HOW TO ENABLE RAZER™ SNAP TAP

Razer Snap Tap is available on our Razer Huntsman V3 Pro line of keyboards and be easily toggled via Razer Synapse. Onboard adjustments can also be done by simply hitting FN + Left Shift to immediately toggle Snap Tap. The A and D keys are paired to this mode by default. Paired keys will light up white when Snap Tap is on and light up red when Snap Tap is off.

To achieve the best experience with the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro line (full-size, tenkeyless, 60%), ensure both the firmware and Razer Synapse have been updated to the latest versions. If you require any further assistance, please visit the Razer Support page.

For all other supported keyboards* and gaming laptops, Snap Tap is useable via Razer Synapse 4.

*Razer Snap Tap is not available yet on Huntsman V2 Analog, Huntsman Mini Analog, Tartarus Pro and Tartarus V2.
